Vortal Academy
This is a unique and extraordinary project dedicated to developing knowledge in the domain of management and negotiation of procurement contracts and the sale of goods, services and construction projects supported by electronic platforms.
Run by a multi-disciplinary team of dedicated specialists, this project includes the collaboration of university qualified teaching staff along with experts with vast professional experience in both public and private company sectors, drawing on vast management experience and expertise in processing contracts on Vortal's platform.
This project assumed increased importance and was granted special status in 2008 following the publication of the new Public Contracts Code (Dec.-18/2008).
Its creation came about as a result of the 1st National Congress on Electronic Contracting organized by OPET – Observatory for Prospective Studies in Engineering and Technology (Observatório de Prospectiva na Engenharia e Tecnologia) and Vortal in September 2007 which featured the participation of over 1000 specialists and stakeholders in electronic contracting.
