The result of consistent and continued R&D
Ever since it was founded Vortal has promoted a policy of permanent investment in Research and Development (R&D), with the aim of achieving exceptional levels of performance and competitiveness. To this end, the company has established various partnerships with universities and other companies. We continually invest in training for our staff to enable the development of innovative solutions capable of increasing competitiveness, bringing value to our clients and, as consequence, to the economy.
The development of our platforms is at the heart of our policy for growth by continuous innovation, spurred by the demands of our Clients on whom we currently invest around 13.5% of our receipts.
We have two Research and Development laboratories, where we have conceived and developed various R&D activities. As a result, a multitude of new features and products have been created for our electronic platforms.
To give an example of this R&D drive is Vortal’s participation in projects such as PLAGE where the company is the lead-promoter and H-Know.
The innovative character of our activities has inspired various business schools, namely the AESE – The Business & Management School (Escola de Direcção e Negócios), to make econstroi one of its CASE STUDIES. Equally, econstroi has proved a case study in publications such as ‘Mercator’ (which covers IT solutions) and ‘Manual de Casos para MBA’ (Case Manual for MBAs), among others.
